our history
A third-generation company, our story began in 1962 with the invention of the Quebec City Carnival trumpet (now known worldwide as the vuvuzela due to its popularity during the 2010 World Cup) marketed by Joseph Côme Ricard.
In the late 1990s, the third generation of Ricards innovated by introducing a unique line of noise makers and promotional items for sports fans, sports teams, and events of all kinds.
